How long does it take to complete a project?
Every project is unique to each individual client. Cadlab will provide you with developed timeframes and a procedure chart which will illustrate the progress of the documentation and stages for you to easily understand the process and timeframes.
How much do you cost?
All new projects are costed against our standard rating system which determines the difficulty of the work with a comparable rate per meter. This allows you to estimate the costing of the project without any hidden extras. Alterations and Additions as well as Commercial projects are priced out with an hourly estimated time and rate.
What about my budget?
Our design process allows us to concentrate on achieving your design goals within your budget parameters. At the end of the conceptual stage, we will address budgeting issues, to ensure that what we have designed, not only encompasses what you envisage, but that it also is a realistic goal. We will not progress to council documentation until we have satisfied both aspects of the project.
How do I find a builder?
Through our networking , we are able to provide for you skill-specific builders who are capable of undertaking your project with minimal complication or fuss. However, if you prefer, we can work with your Building Contractor and tailor the documents to suit their methods and Merchants.
Do I have to deal with council?
No, we will act as your agent to council. This means we will lodge your documents and track through to the issue of your Building Consent. With acting as your agent, we are then able to respond to all communications from council on your behalf and ensure swift processing.
